“If I work one day less, I can no longer support my family”

The conflict between the Taliban in Afghanistan and the Pakistani military along the border between the two countries has cast a shadow over the lives of Afghans living in Malmö.
Many are forced to work continuously to support their families in Pakistan and Afghanistan, particularly those living in conflict-affected areas.
“This is not a normal life,” says 26-year-old Yazdan Ali Yari.
